Renovation and extension of the Cultural Centre of Walcourt, adding a library, tourist office, screening room, workshops, and a shared reception area.

Three independent buildings frame a courtyard facing the street, while a public park and the Eau d’Yves river lie at the rear and along the eastern boundary.

The design makes the park visible from the street, strengthens the Centre’s public character, and connects all entities through interior circulation. Key interventions include opening the western volume to create a transparent entrance, adding a concrete footbridge housing the library reading room, and constructing an eastern extension with a foyer and terrace overlooking the park and the river.
