The intervention focuses on two key aspects: the reconfiguration of external access and the optimisation of the attic space. Originally, the connection between the kitchen and the garden was abrupt, with no designed transition. The addition of a terrace and a new access to the garden aims to create a smoother sequence between the interior and the exterior. The unique geometry of this element results from urban planning constraints, civil code regulations regarding sightliness, and the invisible boundaries that guided its placement. The choice of concrete was a natural one, materialising this outcome into a monolithic volume with an almost sculptural presence, enhanced by a colour that resonates with the garden. In the attic, the introduction of dormer windows made the space habitable, improving both its functionality and the influx of natural light.
